What are Mealworms?
..Mealworms are not really worms at all, but are the larval
form of the darkling beetle.
Bulk Mealworms are clean, easy to care for, don't carry human diseases,
& a nutritious food supplement readily accepted by Bluebirds.
Mealworm Shipping - 2nd Day Air and Overnight are available.
If the weather is above 55 F or below 42 F and you won't be home
when the shipment arrives, it is a good idea to leave an insulated container
with a note for the delivery person to put the package in to protect your Live
Mealworms from temperature extremes. During extreme temperature conditions,
please consider Overnight delivery.
Bluebird Feeder Placement
Place the feeder in the open - within the Bluebird's clear
view from one of their favorite perches. Once discovered and the birds are
taking the food, you can move it gradually to a more desired location. Don't
mount the feeder on an occupied birdhouse, this may attract unwanted birds and
critters to the birdhouse.
