Info on Mealworm Bedding
Mealworm
Bedding is a complete bedding solution for your mealworm, superworm, and wax
worm needs.
This bedding also serves
as a food source for your worms, giving them plenty of protein to keep them
healthy until feeding.
Each bag contains 3.3 lbs
of finely milled soft wheat shorts and ground wheat, giving the product a
smooth and soft consistency that will be very easy for worms to move through.
The bedding in worm
containers should be replaced regularly, so be sure to keep plenty on hand.
Every 2 weeks the Mealworms need
water.
Remove them from the
fridge and on top of the bedding put 1/4" cubes of apples or potatoes or
carrots or lettuce or other fruit / vegetable with lots of water. OR,
just add a few junks of Easy Water.
Leave Mealworms out for
24 hrs.
After 24 hrs, and just
before returning to fridge, remove the remaining pieces of vegetables or fruit
and refresh the bedding with new bedding.
